A Prelude to Vengeance - Listening/Viewing Party Tuesday, with Christopher and Adam!

Vengeance is almost done, and we couldn’t be happier to be putting the finishing touches on the first mega-expansion that your pledges helped us create - Sentinels of the Multiverse: Vengeance.

As you know if you’ve been watching #SentinelsLive every week, or catching up on the episodes on our YouTube channel, we’ve been previewing Vengeance for the last month. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, it looks something like this:

We’ve shown you Baron Blade, Friction, Ermine, Proletariat and Fright Train in several different configurations, we’ve played heroes Parse, K.N.Y.F.E, The Naturalist, and The Sentinels, and we’ve braved the Freedom Tower and Mobile Defense Platform environments. But there’s one big piece of the experience that’s been missing up until now, and that is the music by our in-house maestro, Jean-Marc. As we’re nearing the release of Vengeance, it’s now time to remedy this!

As has become our tradition before a major release, we’re throwing our next listening/viewing party Tuesday, December 13th on #SentinelsLive. The show begins at 6 PM Eastern tomorrow (one hour earlier than usual). Join us to be among the first outside the hallowed halls of Handelabra Games to hear the newest sounds of the Multiverse. And trust us when we say - this listening party will be unlike any we’ve had so far. If you can’t watch live, fear not! We always post the episodes to YouTube within a day or two so you won’t be missing out for long.

Aside from the listening party, #SentinelsLive this week is special for another reason - believe it or not, tomorrow will be our 100th episode!

 

To celebrate, the stream kicks off at 6 PM with 2 special guests, the architects of the Multiverse themselves, Christopher Badell and Adam Rebottaro! Show up right at the top of the show with your Questions of the Multiverse and the creators themselves will be on hand to to answer them (or at least, respond to them in such a way that generates further mystery).

In addition to special guests and the Vengeance Listening/Viewing Party, we’ll also have some giveaways and maybe a surprise or two, in addition to that wonderful #SentinelsLive action you know and love, like Jeremy playing the wrong card while John exasperatedly asks “Why did you do that”?

If you are already doing one or all of those things, you probably already know about our Holiday Stocking Stuffer Sale. December Tachyon Shipping Update

It has been almost a month since our last Tachyon shipping update and some of you are understandably restless, so we wanted to bring you up to speed.

As mentioned in the previous update, there was some difficulty with the Tachyon shipment the first time it was attempted. That issue has now been resolved and we’ve been assured by Greater Than Games that all Tachyon cards will be shipped out by the middle of next week. Again, we apologize for the delay, but we’re happy that these cards (both regular and collector’s editions) will finally be making their way to our patient, wonderful, and generous backers.

Several of you contacted us asking about updating your address. We’ve been told by Greater Than Games that the labels have already been printed and the envelopes are just waiting for postage, so it’s not currently possible to update any addresses. However, as these are being shipped via regular mail, a standard mail forward will get your card(s) to you. If you have moved, and you set up mail forwarding (a good idea in any case), your card will find its way to you.

The holidays are always a busy time for shipping, even when you don’t end up with more than 1,000 envelopes that need to be redone from scratch! We thank you again for your patience and understanding.

A New Team Arises - The Prime Wardens!

Here at Handelabra Games we are hard at work on the first mega-expansion of Season 2. Vengeance is still very much in progress, and we decided to make the wait a little bit easier between expansion packs. We’re happy to announce that version 2.2.3 of Sentinels of the Multiverse is launching today for all platforms. This FREE update includes support for a new team of 5 Variant heroes: the Prime Wardens.

 

Anthony Drake is the latest to take up the mantle of “Virtuoso of the Void.” It is the job of the Virtuoso to stand against the Spirit of Chaos herself, Akash’bhuta. But it’s not an easy task. The Argent Adept could be so much more effective with a solid team at his back… but it’s not clear that he knows it yet.

As always with new Variants, it’s up to you to hunt them down! The first person to take a screenshot of their successful unlocking of a Variant, and share it to us via Twitter or Facebook earns a coveted spot in the Hall of Fame.

This time, only the Argent Adept will be available for unlocking immediately. Once someone unlocks him and claims the Hall of Fame spot, the other members of the team will become available for unlocking. Keep track at SentinelsDigital.com/primewardens to see which variants are available for unlocking, along with other info.

Remember - you must own a hero in order to use a Variant of that hero. For the Prime Wardens, that means Season Pass 1, or Infernal Relics (for the Argent Adept) and Wrath of the Cosmos (for Captain Cosmic). Fanatic, Haka, and Tempest are available in the core game. Story Challenges (a.k.a. unlock conditions) can sometimes require expansions as well. However, as with all other Variants, 30 days after they are released you can unlock them with just a button push in the New Game screen.

Keep an eye out for more Variant packs in the future - Greater Than Games have created quite a few for us to bring to the video game. As always, thanks for playing and we’ll see you out in the Multiverse!

Tachyon Shipping Status

Many of you have been asking about the status of the Tachyon variant cards. As we mentioned in October, the cards (both regular and collector’s editions) are in St. Louis, and in the Greater Than Games shipping queue.

Unfortunately, there was a technical error with the packing and labeling of the nearly 1000 envelopes being used to send the cards out to you. Luckily, the wonderful Shipping Princess at Greater Than Games (hi Jodie!) discovered the error before actually dropping them in the mail, otherwise many of the cards could have likely been lost to the ether. As you know, these will not be reprinted so that would have been really, really bad.

While discovering the error is a very good thing, it also means that nearly 1000 envelopes need to be repackaged, then relabeled and finally shipped to you. We appreciate your patience as we work to make sure your cards arrive safely!

Digital Foil Hero Collector’s Pack Available Now

During the Kickstarter campaign we announced that some special add-ons would be coming to the Sentinels video game: Digital Foil Collector’s Packs. We’re happy to announce that the hero pack is available now with the version 2.2 update to Sentinels!

When it’s all said and done, there will be more than 100 Heroes and Hero Variants in Sentinels of the Multiverse. Greater Than Games has created alternate versions of all of them with brand new shiny foil artwork!

This collector’s pack will allow you to use the new artwork with animated foil visual effects in your games. In multiplayer, everyone will get to see which card you chose to play with, even if they don’t own the collector’s pack.

As we add new content to the game, the pack will get the new cards added to it for no additional charge. On mobile, please make sure to re-download your expansion packs so that you have the latest content.

If you added a Steam key or Google Play promo code for the Digital Foil Hero Collector’s Pack to your pledge, head over to your BackerKit page to find it (under Digital Downloads) and redeem it for use in-game. The redemption instructions are the same as for Season Pass 2, but we’ll include them at the end of the post just in case.

If you’re playing on iOS, on Android via the Amazon Appstore, or if you missed the add-on in the campaign, never fear! You can purchase the Collector’s Pack from the Get Expansion Packs screen in-game for $4.99 USD (local prices may vary).

Steam Redemption Instructions

In Steam, Click the Games menu and then click Activate a Product on Steam.

Enter the Steam key (product code) you received from BackerKit.

When you launch Sentinels you should have the new foil cards available to use. If you don’t see the new content, try quitting and restarting the game and Steam, or try logging out and back into Steam.

When new content is added in the future, Steam will automatically update the game for you.

Google Play Redemption Instructions

Update to the latest version of Sentinels from the Play Store app. It will be version 2.2. If you’re not sure what version you have installed, open the Credits screen and check in the corner.

Launch version 2.2 of Sentinels and go to the Get Expansion Packs screen, then select Digital Foil Hero Collector’s Pack. Tap Buy and Google Play’s purchasing interface will appear. Tap the small green down arrow and select Redeem.

Enter the Google Play promo code you received from BackerKit and the foil pack should be activated.

When new content is added in the future, you will need to update the game & re-download all of your DLC to get the new content.

If you redeemed your promo code in the Play Store app instead, that’s no problem. In that case, launch version 2.2 of Sentinels and go to the Get Expansion Packs screen. Tap Restore Purchases in the top right and the content will be activated.

Note: you will have until October 18, 2017 to redeem your Google Play promo code.
