Apple has fixed the problem on their servers, and downloads are working again! We have confirmed it at Handelabra HQ along with several vigilant players online. Please go ahead and update your iOS version of Sentinels to 2.5 and re-download the expansion packs to play Villains of the Multiverse!
If you were stuck on "waiting for confirmation" just re-open the game and it should begin downloading. If it doesn't, you may need to wait a bit longer as the fix may still be propagating through Apple's system.
The Variant Hunt for Trickster Kismet and Fugue State Parse has begun!

All 15 baddies are now ready to team up and wreak havoc across the multiverse. Will you step up and save the day?
It’s now been more than a year since you all helped make Season 2 a reality, and the next major part is now available in the game. Villains of the Multiverse is, without a doubt, the largest single update we’ve released for Sentinels of the Multiverse since the original game. Villains contains 14 decks in total, spanning 10 new team mode villains, as well as 4 new challenging environments. Season 1 expansions are each 8 decks and Vengeance has 12. Only the core game is bigger with 18 (but sit tight, OblivAeon is still on the horizon). And as always, we couldn’t have done it without you! As another small thank you, we’ve made another wallpaper pack covering Vengeance and Villains of the Multiverse, which you can download for free right here!
So what is coming to the game today? Villains of the Multiverse expands on the Team Mode that began in Vengeance. With these additional 10 villains, there are now more than 384,000 possible villain teams to challenge you. However, with more than 8.2 million possible hero teams to create, you should be able to handle them… right?
The Villains of the Multiverse Mega-Expansion contains the following:
Team Villains:
Biomancer - With knowledge of chemistry, biology, and necromancy, Biomancer can create fully living flesh.
Bugbear - Bugbear prowles the jungles. His insatiable hunger demands he find larger and larger prey.
Greazer - You need a target tracked down, you talk to Greazer. He will find them and bring them back to you.
Sergeant Steel - Sergeant Jack Steel and his squad of heavily-armed agents are the most dangerous operatives F.I.L.T.E.R. has to offer.
Citizens Hammer and Anvil - Citizen Dawn has sent these two citizens on a mission. She hopes to find more powered individuals who would be willing to join her ranks.
La Capitan - 500 years ago, Maria Helena was drawn into a temporal rift while seeking adventure. The energy changed her ship, and changed Maria Helena as well.
Ambuscade - After defeat at the hands of many heroes, Ambuscade knew his tactics had to change. He has cobbled together a mismatched group of villainous allies called the Slaughterhouse Six!
Miss Information - This new, darker, jaded Aminia Twain is here to exact her revenge, however misguided, on the Freedom Five.
The Operative - After a mortal injury, Sophia DeLeon was brought back from the brink of death at the temple of the mystic known as Zhu Long, but at the cost of her servitude.
Plague Rat - The creature known as Plague Rat was recently captured by a RevoCorp Recon & Execute team, and is now used as an amped up bloodhound to seek out and destroy key targets.
Environments:
The Temple of Zhu Long - Hidden amongst the peaks of the Himalayas, the Temple of Zhu Long is a place of many eldritch secrets. The mystic Zhu Long keeps his magics hidden from the world there, protected by his scores of apprentices, wards, and assassins. Many find themselves in life-debt to Zhu Long, and it is a steep debt indeed. But what price could be a fair one for cheating death itself?
Magmaria - Deep underground near the core of the earth, Magmaria, the City of the Magmen, has never been seen by the eyes of surface-dwellers. The seemingly mindless magmen toil without ceasing there.
The Court of Blood - The home of the dreaded Blood Countess, the Court of Blood is a lair of creatures thought to be mythical: vampires. They thirst for blood and feed on the living. You may have heard of them.
Madam Mittermeier’s Fantastical Festival of Conundrums and Curiosities - You were driving into town in the morning, as usual, when you noticed that the abandoned lot just outside city limits wasn't abandoned anymore. In fact, there was a carnival set up there. There wasn't a carnival there yesterday, right? You don't remember seeing it on your drive home last night. And there's nothing in the papers about it. Odd. Well, seems like it might be worth visiting.
With these 10 Team Mode villains and 4 new environments, the total number of decks to mix and match in the game is now 86!
And that doesn’t even count variants, of which there are now 2 more for you to find. With this release, you are now tasked with finding two new women to add to your Multiverse, one good, one… less good.
Fugue State Parse - When OblivAeon first approached Earth, a monitoring satellite caught readings of the cosmic being’s ambient radiation. That satellite was being monitored by the hero known as Parse, and encountering the same code that originally “reprogrammed” her mental pathways sent her into a nigh-catatonic state. Now, she is not quite the same person...
Trickster Kismet - The miscreant known as Kismet has had many run-ins with the heroes of the Multiverse, through many different realities, timelines, and dimensions. Now, once again recently out of The Block, she has found her way to a bizarre location indeed: an arcane carnivale with a malevolent purpose of its own.

While we know that you love new content, this update also brings some updates, fixes and features!
Find out more about the Multiverse with extra information links on each hero, villain, and environment. Each deck in the Multiverse now links to the related official wiki pages, Letters Page episodes, strategy guides, and statistics summaries.

The way expansions work in multiplayer has changed to make it easier for new players to join the community, and for friends to join your games. Now by default, anyone can join any game, and the expansions available to play will depend on what everyone in the game owns.
Fixed a problem where Omnitron-U's innate power was unaffected by temporary effects (e.g. Legacy's innate power).
Fixed some problems related to Challenge Mode Spite: Agent of Gloom.
Please note: Challenge Mode is not yet available for Villains of the Multiverse decks and Trickster Kismet. It will be added in a future update.
And another thing…
And did we forget to mention the Villainous Summer Sale? Tell your friends that there are some great deals happening on Steam, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Bandcamp and Handelabra.com! Check out the details and spread the word - the Villains have arrived!
Villains of the Multiverse Coming June 22nd - plus Legacy Independence Day Stream
over 7 years ago
– Wed, Jun 14, 2017 at 07:09:52 PM
The next big piece of Season 2 is almost here! Next Thursday, June 22nd, Villains of the Multiverse will be available across all platforms. The second Mega-Expansion for Sentinels of the Multiverse brings 10 new Team Mode villains and 4 new environments to the game. With the release of Villains of the Multiverse, almost every deck currently available on the tabletop will be available in the video game (Celestial Tribunal is the sole exception, coming in Mini-Pack 4).
When mixed in with the 5 Team Mode villains from Vengeance, there are now more than 384 thousand possible villain team combinations to battle. I wouldn’t worry about it though as there are currently more than 8.2 million possible hero teams you can assemble (seriously, we did the math). As usual, there is a lot of new music for these new villains and environments, and we previewed it last night on our Twitch Channel. Check it out and get yourself pumped for next week!
Coming up in 3 weeks is the 4th of July, a date very close to Legacy’s heart. As it happens, July 4th this year is on a Tuesday, which nicely lines up with our weekly episode of Sentinels Live. To help celebrate, we’re calling on you to inspire us with your presence! Send us a photograph of yourself cosplaying Legacy (any version) and we will feature it on the live stream! Plus, you’ll be entered into a draw to be a special guest on the July 4th live stream (if you wish). Send in your photos by June 27th and we will perform the draw live on Sentinels Live!

Vengeance Soundtrack for all backers - with a bonus!
– Tue, May 30, 2017 at 07:23:29 PM
Can you believe it’s been an entire year since Season 2 was successfully funded? Thank you again! Aside from your chosen rewards, backers also earned a number of bonuses and stretch goals and we’re happy to now deliver you the next of your free bonuses!
When we successfully funded, we promised all backers that they would receive a free copy of the Season 2: Volume 1 Soundtrack. At the time, we believed that it would cover Vengeance and Villains of the Multiverse. However, due in no small part to Jean-Marc’s incredible virtuosity, the music for these two mega-expansions changed considerably from the simple “1 song per villain” days of Season 1. As a result, we will be releasing a separate soundtrack for each expansion… but with a twist (and don’t worry, all backers will get free copies of both soundtracks).
As you know, Jean-Marc came up with a truly amazing way to give every villain team their own unique theme song, despite the ridiculous number of possible teams (300 alone with just Vengeance). To understand how it works, check out the Vengeance Listening/Viewing party here. Now while we would love to offer a soundtrack that included every possible combination, that would be quite an undertaking, especially once we add 10 more villains into the mix with the upcoming Villains of the Multiverse. So in the Kickstarter spirit we figured, why not just crowd-source it?
If you log into your BackerKit dashboard, you will find these 2 downloads: Soundtrack v6.1 and Soundtrack v6.2. These 2 downloads comprise the regular soundtrack release for Vengeance.
However, you will also see 5 additional downloads:
Villain Stems Baron Blade
Villain Stems Ermine
Villain Stems Friction
Villain Stems Fright Train
Villain Stems Proletariat
These downloads include all the component parts of the Vengeful 5’s theme songs. This means we are putting the power in your hands! With these files, plus a little know-how provided by Jean-Marc, you will now be able to create any possible combination your twisted minds can come up with. And yes, we will do the same for Villains of the Multiverse, giving you the ability to create all 395,850 possible combinations if you have the will and some time on your hands.
But of course, you don’t have to be limited to what we give you! Want to lay a house beat under Baron Blade and Ermine? Or play along and record your own guitar track with Friction and Fright Train? Have at it denizens of the Multiverse, we believe in you! If you come up with something great, feel free to share it with us. When you do, use the hashtag #SentinelsMix and we’ll be sure to spread them around the Multiverse! Here’s Jean-Marc explaining the process for anyone not already versed in the magical mysticism of the audio editor:
Go forth and mix!
If you have friends that want to get in on the action but missed out on the Kickstarter, all copies of Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Soundtrack Volume 6 - Vengeance sold via Steam, Handelabra.com or Bandcamp will also include these stems. iTunes, Google Play and other digital music stores will not include them as those stores aren’t set up to do so. We expect regular sales of the soundtrack to go live in the next couple days, but our wonderful backers come first!
In other news, at the ball park...
Alongside Villains of the Multiverse development, we've also been working on a brand new digital game: Bottom of the 9th. We just released some screenshots today, so check those out to see how it's coming along!

Sentinels of Earth-Prime - Now on Kickstarter
If you missed the news yesterday, there’s a brand new game on Kickstarter now that fans of Sentinels of the Multiverse might be interested in. Green Ronin Publishing, working in conjunction with Greater Than Games is working to bring the Sentinels gameplay you know and love into a whole new setting - say hello to Sentinels of Earth-Prime.
This new card game will use the same rules as Sentinels of the Multiverse, but with new heroes, villains, and environments from the worlds of Mutants & Masterminds, a rich RPG created by the minds at Green Ronin. The mechanics of the new decks are being created by the one and only Christopher Badell, and he promises new takes on some familiar formulas. For instance, while Johnny Rocket is a speedster (like Tachyon from Sentinels of the Multiverse), his mechanics will play differently to reflect his character. However, despite being a completely new standalone game, these new decks are also fully cross-playable with your existing decks from Sentinels of the Multiverse!
But we’re not just telling you about this because it sounds cool - if you visit the campaign, you’ll notice a certain familiar logo down the page. That’s because we’re already in talks with Green Ronin to bring Sentinels of Earth-Prime into the digital multiverse! If the campaign reaches $400k, that’s a pretty solid indication of demand telling us that a digital version of the game would perform well. So what would a digital Sentinels of Earth-Prime look like?
If we can make the digital version we would have 3 main goals:
Sentinels of Earth Prime should be available on its own - owning SotM not required.
Owners of SotM should be able to add SoEP to their game (and vice versa).
SotM and SoEP players should be able to play together in multiplayer, no matter which version of the game they own, so long as they both have the content.
However we achieve that may be platform dependent, and we will work out the details if/when the time comes.
As we mentioned in the last update, we’ve now kicked off our new streaming schedule. We have live shows 3 times a week now, plus special events! Follow us on Twitch to get notified every time we go live.
Last week saw the final Squish Goal™ fulfilled from the campaign 1 year ago - The Rook City Viewing/Listening Party. If you skipped it because you were thinking “oh, it’s just the Rook City music I’ve been listening to for 2 years,” you not only missed out on some great insight, but also some surprises! Check it out now on YouTube (one of the surprises is a new hero theme song).
“Don’t worry Mister, Jean-Marc has your Multiverse music Fix!”
Last week also launched 2 new shows from community members LewdDolphin (AKA Mark) and AnotherLetdown (AKA Zach). Check out their premier episodes below!
Don’t forget to tune in to Twitch every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 7 PM Eastern, and you can always catch up on previous episodes on YouTube.
