Latest Updates from Our Project:
Anniversary update + Aeon’s End Now Live!
– Mon, Nov 05, 2018 at 06:33:00 PM
October has ended, and Sentinels digital has now begun its 5th year. Thank you to everyone who participated in the big celebration last month. Due to your generosity, we raised more than $4,000 for Child’s Play Charity! After four years, over 250,000 copies of Sentinels are out in the world, countless expansions have been sold and only one more expansion is left to be launched. Speaking of that, we’ll have more info for you about OblivAeon soon, but for now…
OblivAeon’s End
Our next game is now live on Kickstarter! Aeon's End is a cooperative deck-building game where you struggle to defend the city of Gravehold from The Nameless and their hordes using unique abilities, powerful spells, and, most importantly of all, your wits. We are excited to be working with designer Kevin Riley from Action Phase Games, as well as Indie Boards and Cards to bring Aeon’s End to Steam.
It's not hard to find players talking about how Aeon’s End and Sentinels scratch the same cooperative gameplay itch. From the designer himself: "It might not surprise you that SotM was one of the games we learned the most from when making Aeon's End." We think you'll find a lot to love in the variety and depth of Aeon’s End. Visit the campaign to try the 5-10 minute playable demo and see for yourself!
In Aeon’s End, you harness the powers of the breaches to power your magic spells. We’re sure nothing could possibly go wrong tapping into portals in this way. And we’re positive that there’s no way different worlds could somehow be linked through these breaches. Definitely not. Unless someone went mucking about with Void energy. But no one would do that…
right?
Rise of the Void Guard!
– Wed, Oct 17, 2018 at 01:51:42 AM
It’s October 16th, the 4th Anniversary of the launch of Sentinels of the Multiverse for digital. It’s been an amazing journey so far, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without your help. From all of us at Handelabra, THANK YOU!
The team formerly known as the Southwest Sentinels have gone through a lot of changes lately. They each made a difficult choice in bonding with Oblivion Shards from deep within the top secret Project Ironclad installation hidden under Fort Adamant, increasing their power, but also opening them up to cosmic assault. Now, the team of Doctor Medico, Mainstay, The Idealist, and Writhe go by a new name: Void Guard. Under that name, they fight against the end of all things and hold back the Void when no one else can.
.
Getting your stuff
The vast majority of you already own Season Pass 2, either by Steam key, Google Play promo code, or retail purchase. Barring any internet shenanigans, version 2.8 of the game, with support for Mini-Pack 5: Void Guard, should be available now across all platforms. Once you update to version 2.8, Mini-Pack 5 content should appear in the game.
Steam - Your Steam client should automatically download and install the new content when you press Play. You may need to quit and restart your Steam client for it to see the update.
iOS & Android - When you launch Sentinels, you should be shown a screen prompting you to re-download your expansions. If you are not, just press “Get Expansion Packs” and tap “Restore Purchases.” You will need to re-download Season Pass 2 in order to play Mini-Pack 5 content.
Variants
Each member of Void Guard also has a variant to be discovered and that brings us to the Rise of the Void Guard! This will work like last year’s Fall of the Variants, where a new one will be available for unlocking after Sentinels Live every week, starting tonight. But what will be slightly different is that you get to choose which one! Watch Sentinels Live on Tuesday nights at 7 Eastern to vote on which Void Guard variant will be made available each week. Voting is important, so stop by and participate!
Who will be first? You decide!
Party Time!
As we mentioned before, we’re celebrating all week with live streams, a charity fundraiser, plus a sale! You can find all the details on the Anniversary home page, but here’s the overview:
Lots of great deals on all things Sentinels Digital
Fundraiser for Child’s Play (including $1 donated for every foil collector’s pack sold)
And finally, our friends over at Greater Than Games are making a new expansion for Spirit Island, for which the Kickstarter launched just a few hours ago. We think that game would make a pretty cool video game, don’t you?
Here’s to 4 Years! Plus - Rise of the Void Guard

Where does the time go? On October 16th, it will be four years since you were first able to play Sentinels on the go on iPad and Android tablets. We always like to mark the occasion, and so we’re throwing another Anniversary celebration this year.
Last night on Sentinels Live, we officially announced the celebration which will last from Sunday, October 14th through Friday the 19th. There will be Live Streams every night, a charity fundraiser, great discounts on all things Sentinels, and something else - Void Guard will be launching on Tuesday, October 16th!
.
Where have the Southwest Sentinels gone, and what have they become? On the 4th anniversary, they return from space as Void Guard. 4 new playable heroes join the game on Tuesday, October 16th in Mini-Pack 5. Season Pass 2 holders will receive the update on the 16th, and Mini-Pack 5 will also go on sale on all platforms for $2.99 USD.
But that’s not all! Each hero also has a new variant to be discovered. Last year was the Fall of the Variants, this year it will be the Rise of the Void Guard! One new variant will become available for unlocking at the end of Sentinels Live for the month following the Anniversary. As a bonus, tune in to Sentinels Live on Twitch each week to vote on which Variant will become unlockable! Check out the anniversary home page for more updates as we approach the 14th.

Curses - Foiled Again! The Digital Foil Villain Collector's Pack is Here!
– Fri, Aug 17, 2018 at 07:39:43 PM
As OblivAeon continues to make its way to backers, so too are the digital items coming to fruition. The next item which is now available is the Digital Foil Villain Collector’s Pack.
Long have the villains of the Multiverse watched as the heroes received exclusive special treatment. No more! With this pack, every classic & team villain in the game has brand new shiny foil artwork!
This collector’s pack will allow you to use the new artwork with animated foil visual effects in your games. In multiplayer, the team leader can choose a foil villain and everyone will get to see it, even if they don’t own the collector’s pack.
When the OblivAeon expansion arrives, the pack will include foil OblivAeon and scion panels for no additional charge.
Shiny is as shiny does.
If you added a Steam key or Google Play promo code for the Digital Foil Villain Collector’s Pack to your pledge, it will appear in your BackerKit dashboard under Digital Downloads. Check your email for a notification, or visit this link to access your dashboard.
Steam Redemption Instructions
In Steam, Click the Games menu and then click Activate a Product on Steam.
Enter the Steam key (product code) you received from BackerKit.
When you launch Sentinels you should have the new foil cards available to use. If you don’t see the new content, try quitting and restarting the game and Steam, or try logging out and back into Steam.
When new content is added in the future, Steam will automatically update the game for you.
Google Play Redemption Instructions
Update to the latest version of Sentinels from the Play Store app. It will be version 2.7. If you’re not sure what version you have installed, open the Credits screen and check in the corner.
Launch version 2.7 of Sentinels and go to the Get Expansion Packs screen, then select Digital Foil Hero Collector’s Pack. Tap Buy and Google Play’s purchasing interface will appear. Tap the small green down arrow and select Redeem.
Enter the Google Play promo code you received from BackerKit and the foil pack should be activated.
You'll need to re-download your DLC to see the foil versions of villains in the DLC. A new feature has been added to delete your DLC files to make updating take less space on device, so feel free to use that before re-downloading.
If you redeemed your promo code in the Play Store app instead, that’s no problem. In that case, launch version 2.7 of Sentinels and go to the Get Expansion Packs screen. Tap Restore Purchases in the top right and the content will be activated.
Note: you will have until August 15, 2019 to redeem your Google Play promo code.
Retail
For those who didn't add the Digital Foil Villain Collector's Pack during the campaign, it is also now available for $4.99 USD on all stores. You can purchase it on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon via In App Purchase, or on Steam here.
Void Guard...
Next up on the docket is Mini-Pack 5: Void Guard. If you missed it this week, the Agents of S.T.R.E.A.M. got together on Tuesday night to put this hero team through their paces.
.
Stay tuned to Sentinels Live for more previews of the Void Guard, including their variants, in the coming weeks.
...And Beyond
As Void Guard is now in testing, that can mean only one thing remains… OblivAeon! Now that the game is out in the real world, these is less concern about spoiling things like gameplay, narrative and mechanics. As such, stay tuned in the coming weeks for some more dev streams. Specifically, we’re planning some music streams with Jean-Marc, environments with Jennifer, and some programming of the OblivAeon game mode itself with John. Follow us on Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, or join our Discord server for notifications when we go live!
Mini-Pack 4 Available Now!
– Thu, Jul 19, 2018 at 08:05:54 PM
Who better to defend the Earth from the judgement of a supreme robotic court than the most handsome leading man who does all his own stunts? Meanwhile, Revo-Corp's latest technological marvel is in tough against a ferro-kinetic villain who just wants to make all that metal sing.
As we’ve mentioned before, we've been hard at work on Mini-Pack 4 in order to get it to you as soon as possible after OblivAeon started arriving on people's doorsteps. That day has arrived (photo credit to bluedarky)! Mini-Pack 4 is now available on all platforms and includes four new decks: Benchmark, Stuntman, Chokepoint, and the Celestial Tribunal.
The overall shipping process for the physical games will take a while, and we are still at work on the remaining digital versions. But as of today with Mini-Pack 4, you can get your hands on some of the new content digitally and play while you wait!
The vast majority of you already own Season Pass 2, either by Steam key, Google Play promo code, or retail purchase. If you do, once you update to version 2.6, Mini-Pack 4 content should appear in the game.
Steam - Your Steam client should automatically download and install the new content when you press Play. You may need to quit and restart your Steam client for it to see the update. NOTE: Due to a mixup on our part, Mini-Pack 4 is not yet available separately outside of Season Pass 2 on Steam. It will be fixed as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!
iOS & Android - When you launch Sentinels, you should be shown a screen prompting you to re-download your expansions. If you are not, just press “Get Expansion Packs” and tap “Restore Purchases.” You will need to re-download Season Pass 2 in order to properly play Mini-Pack 4.
Variants
Of course, Mini-Pack 4 also brings new variants!
Guise is in a mood again...
Action Hero Stuntman - Ansel G. Moreau never let his scars stop his career. He just went on being the best action hero the world had ever seen on the screen. So when all of reality was threatened and he had a chance to fight against that threat, Ansel knew it was time to show off. After all, he did all his own stunts. Stuntman. Coming to a theater near you soon, provided the Multiverse doesn’t collapse first.
Benchmark: Supply and Demand - In an alternate reality, Benchmark is the only hero left in a world that needs heroes desperately. Backed by the angel-investor funded RevoCorp, Benchmark does all he can to protect the world. Benchmark is running up against a classic economic issue of Supply and Demand. So, when a portal opens to a dimension with a threat against all reality, Benchmark must join the fray.
Note: Variants will become available for unlocking once we have confirmed that Mini-Pack 4 is available across all platforms AND when it is available individually on Steam. Watch our Twitter or Discord for info on Variant availability.
Staring into the Void
Now that Mini-Pack 4 has arrived, we know you'll want to know more about Mini-Pack 5, also known as: Void Guard.
This is one team you do NOT want to cross.
The team known as the Southwest Sentinels have harnessed the power of OblivAeon shards! What will happen next? We hope to begin previewing Void Guard on Sentinels Live soon. Follow our Twitch channel to get notified when we go live, and you can always catch past episodes on YouTube.
Stay tuned later in the summer for more information on Void Guard and of course, the final piece of Season 2: OblivAeon itself.
